It's good to see the city putting their priorities straight. Murders are more important of a "quality of life" issue than public urination on a Friday night after the bars close. Congratulations to Mayor Ravenstahl and his cronies for making the bold decision to move the police station away from where the new expensive condos are to a neighborhood that could really use some policing.
Of course, I'm a bit biased because I live up close and personal with Allentown and am quite excited to see something going on up there to help both the problems in these hilltop communities and my safety walking my neighborhood streets.

I used to live in a Hilltop community in zone three, so I can see where you are coming from. However, I have no faith in the idea that it has anything to do with solving a crime problem. Those officers are already patrolling that area.
I find it interesting that we as Americans support the idea that we are the source of power in theory, but do nothing to support it in practice. Why look to politicians only looking to make a buck? With whom does the interest of safety and security lie? The people. Who is then best suited to seek these ends? Those with the most interest. The professional politicians' interest lies only with power.
